About the developer

Hello, I am Alexander.

I built Love Without Why because I wanted to be reminded of one thing in every situation: love needs no reason. Not as a beautiful idea, but as help in exactly the moments when anger, fear or hurt feel bigger than anything else. Many teachers point to this love. I wanted an app that brings it into everyday life — in clear words, with concrete steps and without asking anyone to believe anything. I did not find one. So I developed it.

Before studying social sciences at the Humboldt University of Berlin, I spent three years as a backpacker in nine different countries. I was born in 1983 and today I live on Rügen, the largest island in Germany.

This app has no advertising, no subscription and no tracking, and it never will. It is bought once and then it belongs to you. Whoever uses Love Without Why supports my work as an independent developer directly.
